Lasting LOVE

You do not have to be religious or subscribed to any dogma to honor the reason for this sacred time. We reflect not only on a blessed child but on a mother who struggled with her truth but who endured the strangest of days to tackle a role most would have crumbled under the weight of. I think about Joseph and how his courage and humility enabled him to marry a woman who was with child not of his loins. And then there are the souls placed in their path to facilitate such a mystical event, the shepherd, inn keeper and his wife, the 3 wise men, and of course Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist who gave birth just 6 months earlier at 57 years old. Then there is the child born approximately 2020 years ago. We marvel at his amazing staying power in the lives of millions throughout millennia. No you do not have to be religious to love and admire Jehoshua aka Jesus. As a man he accomplished more in 33 years than many accomplish in 100. His compassion was birthed from his desire to serve, to inspire, to cause the transformation of everyone he touched who was open to receiving the gift of his love, wisdom and energy. If you know him you know what an amazing sense humor he has. If you know him, you know how he empowers others. If you say, “Master” to him, he will correct you as he has done me before by saying, “You cannot call me “master” for I am the groom and ye are the bride”. It is a partnership of personal empowerment and his teachings are just that, the wisdom which empowers. His life was not only about dying that our human frailties and weakness’s would be reconciled for all time but it was also about understanding that life is eternal, that the soul lives on. If you follow his teachings you know that everything you think, say and do is returning to you in one way or another and that the greatest gift you can give anyone including yourself is love. Love trumps all things of the earth, love is of greater value than any material wealth, love is what lives on after you are gone. His love has lived on for thousands of years…will yours?

Wishing each and every one of you a magical Christmas filled with love, blessings and joy. Remember HIM ♥☼♥

All Creatures Great and Small

“Animals contribute to the light mass of earth and should be considered as valuable as any human being.”

Animals are just furry people. I penned the following as a protest to those who just don’t understand the animal world. I know it sounds very harsh but if we as human beings would be more passionate about protecting nature, if we would take more responsibility in caring for all creatures’ great and small, the earth would be more balanced. When it comes to animals, just as I do with people, I try to metaphorically walk in their shoes. If I was a dog, would I like eating the same hard, tasteless food every single day of my life? If I was a cat, would I want my nails ripped out or my testicles cut off or would I want to eat right next to my litter box? If I was a horse, would I want to be left out in a field of snow all winter long with no shelter to protect me from the elements?

I wish more people would try to perceive what an animal feels when they suddenly give it up for adoption because it no longer fits into their life. So many who move to a new state or apartment do just that and I am always saddened to see how traumatized these pets are, who have been so readily cast aside after years of being loyal and loving to their owners. I am horrified when I see someone leave their pet behind where there is a fire looming nearby, instead of taking that baby with them when they evacuate. I am shocked when I see the ignorance of man as their ride their large dogs in an open bed truck at speeds exceeding 50 MPH knowing if anything goes wrong, they are literally making their dog a living projectile! I wrote the following knowing some might be offended and I actually hope it does cause such a rumbling in the stomachs of those who do not think, that they change the way they perceive their pets and all wildlife. Every creature is a gift from God.

You were entrusted with a life but carelessly left the door open and ensured a painful death for your cat as foxes and coyotes ripped it apart.

You were entrusted with a life but you used shock therapy to stiffen the barks of a creature that is designed to bark.

You were entrusted with a life but you left chocolate and Christmas ribbon which is toxic to dogs laying around.

You were entrusted with a life but you rode your dog in the back of your pickup never realizing he would become a living torpedo when you had that fender bender.

You were entrusted with a life but you ripped the finger nails out of your cat because it suited your needs but left that baby traumatized and defenseless if your cat ever had to get away from a predator.

You were entrusted with a life but you feed your cat right next to his toilet, the litter box.

You were entrusted with a life but you left your dog out in the bitter cold with one thin blanket in a drafty shack you call a doghouse.

You were entrusted with a life but you locked your dog in a kennel for long periods of time because you were uninspired to train it.

You were entrusted with a life but you spanked your dog when he had to pee and had no way to get out on his own, as if he was supposed to hold it.

You were entrusted with a life but you left your kids and grandchildren pull its tail and ride on his back.

You were entrusted with a life but you gave your furry baby away when it became inconvenient for you to keep it or when you had to move and didn’t make allowances to take your baby with you.

You were entrusted with a life yet you didn’t secure the gate when high winds came through and a car found your dog before you could.

You were entrusted with a life….. Do not get a pet if you cannot be responsible enough to ensure its needs are met, that it has food, fresh water, a warm bed, a safe environment and a loving home for the duration of its life.

Alone Doesn’t Have to be Lonely

How many of you are alone? Alone does not have to mean lonely. There are 99.6 million people over 18 who are single in America, 44% of the population. For every 100 unmarried woman there are 88 unmarried men and many come with scares too deep to couple in a healthy relationship. Most of us would prefer our own company to the company of the wrong person. Many of us don’t have family or what family we have we prefer not to intertwine with. Many of us have lost our loved ones /mates to death and some have simply never found the person they want to share their life with. Whatever the case it is clear many are spending more and more time alone. Social media is the new lonely hearts club and has given many a way to create a new kind of family. But the real key is be comfortable in your own skin and to take this “alone time” to a new level of going deeper within. You have an opportunity to embrace new challenges, try new experiences, learn new skills or just learn about yourself. You can spiritually evolve through meditation and heal what needs to be healed in those moments when alone becomes lonely. Instead of pining over what might have been or having a pity party, why not embrace how wonderful it is to have the freedom to explore yourself and discover what makes you tick, celebrate the down time and nap giving the angels a chance to work on you. Discover what makes you laugh, find what makes you wiser, what makes you feel good about yourself. Read, travel, journal, cook, dance, take a class or two, volunteer your time, help someone in need, exercise, meditate, spend time in nature, study the leaves or the animals or just sit on the porch and watch the sunset. “There is power in silence and silence is power” ~Ariaa Quotes Today take a look at how you are perceiving being alone and realize what a gift it is especially when you recognize that you now have the angels and Spirit as a captive audience. ~Ariaa Jaeger~ Ariaaisms ~ Spiritual Food for the Soul~ Copyright ©2013 All Rights Reserved ~Ariaa.com

Discipline Your Mind

Discipline your mind. Let it become a constant stream of messages which uplift you and the world around you. Why feed the negatives you hear on the news, from the gossip of others or from those in your life. You choose what you allow yourself to buy into. Why buy damaged goods? You have more power inside you than you know and telepathy is real. Thoughts are energy and the more you learn to use your telepathic mind to create the greater your gifts increase. Today don’t just watch your words, formulate your thoughts to make a difference. With enough energy propelling it, what one thinks becomes so and creates a ripple effect in life. Thoughts are power, words are power, all is energy, use it wisely!
